Public Commission, 1.5 Times Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust of the Past Secretary of the United Nations, General U-Thant. This beautifully detailed bronze portrait was recently installed in a place of honor upon a solid granite base at the Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Florida. Dedication date is planned for summer of 2023.

Public Contribution, Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust of Mahsa Zhina Amini ‘Angel of Liberty’, a 22 year old Kurdish/Iranian woman has become the face of the huge protests in Iran (just as the murder of Neda Agha-Soltan ‘Angel of Freedom’ was the face of the protests in 2009). Mahsa was killed by the Iranian ‘morality police’ for not covering her hair adequately with the hijab. Her brutal death has sparked a revolution to over thrown the terrorist Regime in Iran. Until the bronze bust of Mahsa can be donated to a National Museum in Tehran of a Free Iran, a location for the display of this inspiring bronze portrait is presently being arranged. Private Commission, Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust of Terry Clarke, a much beloved Barbershop Quartet award winning singer. The bronze bust will also have a bronze plaque installed on the front of the bronze denoting that it is a trophy for the Worldwide Barbershop Quartet Contest. The Terry Clarke Memorial Trophy will travel the global and each annual team winner will be inscribed on the back of the Trophy. The clay sculpture is completed, molded and is now going through the bronze process at the foundry.

Private Commission, Andy Anderson relief portrait award plaque is completed in clay and is presently being molded for bronze casting. It is a 16″ high by 10″ wide relief portrait of Andy Anderson who retired from his position of Senior Vice President of Operations at Aera Energy. Once it is cast in bronze it will be an annual Environmental, Health, and Safety Award in his honor.

Public Commission, 1.5 Times Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust of the Past Secretary of the United National, General U-Thant. This beautifully detailed bronze Portrait was just installed in a place of honor upon a solid granite pedestal at the Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Florida. Dedication date is planned for January 2023.

Public Commission, Saint George and the Dragon. Beautifully detailed, high energy bronze of Saint George on a reared up horse slaying the Dragon beneath.  A 4ft high by 4ft wide bronze will be available in a small limited edition. This complex bronze is in the process of being welded together and finely finished. An elegant patina will add the final touch.

Private Commission, Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust of Charles Albert Adams. Charles Adams was a San Francisco attorney, who was elected Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of California Masons in 1920. Concerned about the crisis in California’s education system following the first world war, he founded Public Schools week to promote masonic support for education. A successful initiative which has resulted in over $30 million contributed by California masons to public education. Next year marks the 100th anniversary of Public Schools week, and the fraternity wished to commemorate Mr. Adams with a bronze portrait bust. The bust will accompany Grand Lodge officers to school celebrations and then will permanently reside in the California Masonic Memorial Temple in San Francisco. The portrait was completed in February, 2020

Private Commission, Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust of George Draper. Draper received his Star on the Surfing Walk of Fame in 2012. He is an institution in Huntington Beach and a ‘local hero’. Draper is also known as the Mayor of Main Street. He earned these titles as the owner of the legendary George’s Surf Center located at 121 Main Street, Huntington Beach, California from 1967 to 1993. The portrait was completed in bronze in 2019.

Private Commission, Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust of Jozif Ghandi, who was a young medical student in Germany. He was a handsome young man adored by family, friends and colleagues. The portrait was completed in bronze in 2019 and was shipped to Germany for installation at his gravesite.

Public Commission, Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum commission (“Apollo in the Park”) for the creation of 15 life size full figure highly detailed and painted replica statues of Neil Armstrong’s Apollo 11 spacesuit that he wore when he took man’s first steps on the Moon. These 15 roto-cast resin spacesuits statues are installed upon 8” high engraved granite bases at 15 Major League Baseball Parks across the nation to celebrate the 50th year Anniversary of the Moon landing. Each Ballpark is planning an event in July 2019. After the baseball season all 15 statues were shipped to affiliate museums including one shipped to NASA, the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and a museum in Austria.

Public Commission, 1.25 Times Life Size Full-Figure Bronze Portrait of (18th U.S. President and General) Ulysses S. Grant for United States Military Academy at West Point (7-1/2’ High plus 4-1/2’ High Ornate Granite Base, Overall Height 12’). The finished bronze was installed on the Parade Field at the Academy at West Point, West Point, New York. The dedication was held on April 25th, 2019.

Public Commission, Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust of Judge Leroy Contie. Judge Contie served thirty years as a federal judge; appointed to the U.S. District Court in 1971 and appointed by President Reagan to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in 1982, becoming the Senior Judge from 1986 to 2001. This Portrait bust has been completed in clay, molded and is now going through the bronze process. Dedication scheduled for April 23rd, 2019.

Public Commission, Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust of Former Canton Mayor Stanley Cmich for installation in a newly designed Central Plaza in downtown Canton, Ohio. Cmich was the longest serving Mayor of Canton–serving for 20 years, from 1964 to 1983. Unveiling and Dedicated on April 23rd, 2019.

Private Commission, Two Life Size Bronze Portrait Busts of a Healthcare Hospital CEO. Each of these two busts were installed upon custom solid granite pedestals at the two entrances to a new Hospital. The unveiling and dedication was held in February 2019.

Public Commission, 1.25 Times Life Full-Figure Historical Bronze Portrait of Don Salvio Pacheco, founder of the City of Concord, California (7’ High plus 3’ High Granite Base, Overall Height 10’). Pacheco received a land grant of 17,921 acres in 1827 (which today make up the City of Concord and part of Pleasant Hill). He was a very generous man and by his death in 1876 he had given away all but 425 acres. The clay portrait has been completed, molded and is going through the bronze casting process. The bronze portrait was installed upon a solid granite base at the Todos Santos Plaza in downtown and was unveiled July 4th, 2018

Private Commission, Life Size Portrait Bust of Sarah Yarmand a lovely Actress who starred in the short movie “Untold” that was accepted at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. Sarah is also a medical doctor and a gifted Persian poet. Completed in bronze December 2019, custom crated and shipped to Australia.

Private Commission, Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust of Bertrand Russell, ‘3rd Earl Russell’, famous British philosopher, logician, mathematician, historian, political activist and Nobel Laureate.

Private Commission, Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust of award winning, internationally renowned intellectual, linguist, philosopher and political activist, Dr. Noam Chomsky, professor at M.I.T. The bronze portrait was unveiled after an interview of Chomsky by Toni Massaro at a huge event at the University of Arizona and also at the screening of a film about Chomsky at The Loft Cinema in Tucson on July 10th, 2017.

Private Commission, 1.5 Times Life Size Full-figure Portrait of a female religious leader (6ft tall while seated upon 8-1/2ft tall elaborately styled temple chair). Both the bronze figure and bronze chair will be installed in a Church being built in Oroville, CA. The woman is clothed in highly detailed relief decorated religious costume and headdress and the temple chair also is adored with beautiful relief work. Both were given a gorgeous golden bronze patina.

Public Commission, 1.5 Times Life Size Bronze Portrait bust of Korean War Metal of Honor Recipient, William Charette. The portrait has been completed, the molds have been made and the bronze is presently being cast. Slater’s clients also ordered a second bronze casting of the 6.5 ft high Ascent of Heroism—both bronzes will be installed on granite pedestals in a beautifully designed Veterans Circle and Sculpture Walk in Ludington, MI. Dedication June 25th, 2017.

Private Commission, Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust of a prominent Chicago Attorney Michael McCready, the founder of McCready Law Firm. This surprise gift from his wife was unveiled at a spectacular event to celebrate his company’s ten year anniversary.

Public Commission, “The Major General Vang Pao Monument”, 10 ft High Full-Figure Bronze Portrait of GVP was installed upon a 6 ft high solid granite base. The Monument also includes three 4 ft by 4 ft bronze relief panels depicting General Pao’s crucial role with the United States in the war against Communist aggression in Southeast Asia. He and his Hmong fighters saved thousands of American lives. Former Director of the CIA, William Colby, acknowledged General Pao as “the biggest hero of the Vietnam War.” The Monument was installed and dedicated at San Joaquin County Fairgrounds in Stockton, CA in March, 2016.

Public Commission and U.S. National Monument, “U.S. Military Working Dog Teams National Monument”, Highly detailed bronze of a 1.5 times life size (9’6” high) full-figure United States Military Dog Handler in full combat uniform with military rifle, a 1.5 times life size German Shepherd, Doberman Pinscher, Labrador Retriever and Belgian Malinois with extensive granite components, lighting, water feature and landscaping. Congressional legislation was passed for this National Monument by the U.S. House of Representatives and by the U.S. Senate and signed into law by President George W. Bush in 2008 and then amended and signed by President Barrack Obama in 2009. Dedicated October 28th, 2013, Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Public Commission and U.S. National Monument, “Not Forgotten Fountain” 1.3 times Life Size Full-Figure highly detailed bronze sculpture of John Burnam, a Vietnam Era Dog Handler Soldier with his Military German Shepherd. This working bronze fountain was installed in its own granite courtyard to the side of the above National Monument at Lackland Air Force Base. Dedication October 28th, 2013

Private Commission, “Dr. Hildabrando Perico Bust”, 1.5 Times Life Size Bronze Portrait of Dr. Perico, Founder of Universidad EAN, Bogota, Columbia, South America. The Bust has been cast in bronze and will be installed in the University’s beautiful new library 2014.

Private Commission, “Archbishop Claude Marie Dubuis Bust,” Life Size Bronze Portrait of Claude Dubuis in his younger years as a Priest in Galveston, Texas from 1862 to 1892. This Portrait was commissioned by the Roman Catholic Diocese in France. They ordered five castings of the elegant bust in bronze for installation in several of their hospitals named after Dubuis, Dedication 2014. The bust was Awarded an Honorable Mention in the Portrait Society of America members only competition.

Public Commission, “General Giulio Cesare Graziani”, Life size Full-figure Portrait of Italian Air Force pilot who cooperated with the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He became a highly decorated war hero who rose through the ranks to become General of the Italian Air Force. Installed in the Italian Air Force Museum in Rome, Italy. Dedication 2014.

Private Commission, “Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford”, Life Size Highly Detailed Bronze Portrait Bust. This bronze bust announced the movie “Anonymous” about the life of Edward de Vere as the writer of the works attributed to Shakespeare (Fall 2011 release). A photo of the bronze bust was used on a the cover of a book about de Vere and also chosen for the label of two fine Napa wines named, “Earl 17”, year 2009, 2010 and 2011. The bust was Awarded an Honorable Mention in the Portrait Society of America members only competition.

Private Commission, “James Jimmerson, Esq. Portrait”, bronze bust unveiled on April 8th, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Wayne Newton was the MC of this large and extravagant event to honor Mr. Jimmerson.

Public Commission, “Steven Stayner Missing Children’s Memorial”, Life size Full-figure Bronze Portraits of Steven Stayner and Timothy White as they walk hand and hand, coming home, installed in Applegate Park, Merced, California. Dedication 2010

Private Commission, “Reverend Arthur Ginart, also known as Father Red”. Neither Ginart nor his parish, St. Nicholas of Myra survived Hurricane Katrina. Father Red, age 64, was very protective of his church and refused to leave it during the storm. Life Size Bronze Portrait Bust Dedicated 2010

Private Commission, Frank Kiang Portrait Bust, for the new Asian Health Services center in Oakland, CA. Mr. Kiang was a generous philanthropist, founder of Metropolitan Bank, and served as President of the Oakland Port Commission. Dedication 2010

Public Commission and Kentucky State Landmark, “In Sacred Union”, 10 ft High Full-Figure Portrait of Abraham Lincoln. Installed on a 6ft high granite base in front of the Washington County Courthouse, Springfield, KY, Dedication 2009. This Monument has since been declared a Kentucky State Landmark and is a part of the Lincoln Heritage Trail and the Civil War Heritage Trail.
